The Kannapolis Missional Network plans to have 4 combined worship services this year. The remaining dates for these community services are July 6, Aug. 31, and Nov. 23. The next combined worship service will be on July 6 at Jackson Park UMC at 10:30 a.m.
The worship service on May 25 was a great service. We had 87 people in worship. The Missional Network Choir was led by Robert Kennedy and sang two songs at the service. We were honored to have such wonderful musicians to play: Judy Brown, Janet Stack, and Tyler Miller. It was a blessing to be together for worship. I hope that you will join us for the July 6 service!!
June 25 will begin a new Bible Study. We will be reading Romans, 1 Corinthians, and 2 Corinthians. You will need to read 5 chapters before we meet and be ready to discuss what you have read. The Bible Study will be at Memorial UMC on Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. This Bible Study will meet weekly until Aug. 13. Hope to see you there.
Our next game night is June 12. Plan to bring your favorite game. Game nights will be Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. (There will always be a friendly game of Scrabble.)
